Vibrant Matter (2023)
In her book 'Vibrant Matter: A Political Ecology Of Things' Jane Bennett writes about the agency of things, and envisions a world full of active matter that constantly moves in and out of assemblages with one another, undermining the long standing object-subject dichotomy. In a performative moment, washed up things are attentively placed on a glass plate. At a certain time a balance is found in which the things start vibrating.
