Dromen Van Een Aarden Huis (2023)

I dream of building a habitat from the soil around me. With locally collected loam, sand and gravel I reproduce images I’ve seen from construction sites both in real life and online. By relieving them of their load- bearing function, I dream through weaving, balancing and drawing with. I attempt to talk about our entanglement with the soil, how we are interwoven, how the soil has agency.
